Veranstaltungen

The scientific program under the direction of Prof. Dr. dr medical Sandrine Zweifel was put together and organized. The varied program shows once again our striving for quality. We will start on Wednesday with the «Sub-Specialty Day», to which we invite all colleagues to attend workshops. For the first time, the Sub-Specialty Day starts in the morning and therefore offers an even greater variety of different workshops, with a total of 16 workshops on this day. On Wednesday from midday, there will also be plenary symposia for the first time on the topics "Spotlight on ophthalmic innovations and new developments", "Sustainability and Solutions in Low-Income Settings: When less is more!" and «Oculoplasty».

On Thursday and Friday, the focus of the program is on the development of ophthalmology in the foreseeable future and in the more distant future. Exciting first-hand case reports can also be discussed in the Plenary Symposium "Interactive Cases", which was successfully held in 2022 and will take place again in 2023; we are also looking forward to an outstanding Goldmann Lecture by Professor Eric Souied from Paris. The scientific program will be rounded off with ARVO-SWISS Plenary Symposia and on the topics "Essentials of refractive surgery for ophthalmologists in practice" and "Ocular Traumatology".
