Hyalus™ Green Laser Photocoagulator
The Hyalus™ is one of the industry’s newest Green Laser Photocoagulators. It combines innovative laser technology and an ergonomic design with a console designed to provide high duty cycle and high standards of performance for use in a busy office or operating room.
Durability: An advanced Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser cavity and digitally controlled instant duty cycle permits the laser to be used at high power settings for extended periods of time. The special laser thermo control function reduces the power requirement, offering optimum and economical control of the temperature under microprocessor management. The Hyalus™ has been especially designed for high activity, providing many years of reliable performance.
Safety: Auto recognition of delivery devices with safety switch mechanisms, allow for simple and safe operation of the system.
User Friendly: The 5.6” Color LCD touch screen as well as the centrally located backlit illuminated rotary buttons allow for fast system controls and easy visibility in all ambient conditions.
Excellent Power distribution: The advanced parfocal optical design of the Hyalus slit lamp adaptors has low corneal energy density which gives even burn lesion over the entire treated spot and is more tolerant to patient motion.
Power Control: The Hyalus features a sophisticated real-time energy control output system which continuously monitors the power on the retina and adjusts power output. The power output is set according to the industry’s lowest fluctuation margins. This results in better power control and minimizes laser induced hot spots.
Programmable Procedure Function: The Hyalus remembers previously set treatment functions, accessible from the control panel, assisting in faster set up and recall of optimum procedure settings.
Advanced Diagnostic Software: The sophisticated diagnostic mode provides the authorized Service Representative with all the important operational parameters and functions needed to promptly carry out any periodical preventative maintenance, significantly reducing system down times.
Portable: The durable Hyalus laser console and it’s easy to install delivery devices come in shock resistant hard cases making the system convenient to transport to hospitals and private clinics.
A wide range of delivery devices and accessories are included with the Hyalus Laser. This allows Ophthalmologists to perform several different therapeutic modalities with convenience and safety.
Endo Ocular Probes: Optos offers a full range of standard Endo-ocular Laser Treatment Probes for wide range clinical applications.
UniFit™ Slit Lamp Adapter (SLA) is a state of the art fully adjustable slit lamp adaptor delivery system available with continuously variable 50-600µ (micron) spot sizes.
WelchAllyn integrated Laser Integrated Ophthalmoscope (LIO): The new lightweight WelchAllyn integrated LIO provides a unique control to fully adjust aperture size and position. It is excellent for photocoagulation in the far periphery and treating patients in the supine position as well as in Retinopathy of Prematurity.
Safety Filters: Optos offers a selection of manually adjusted Safety filters for a wide range of microscopes including Zeiss, Leica and Moeller Wedel.
Multi-Wavelength Safety Glasses: Wrap-around for extended protection for clinical personnel
