Optos' OCT SLO system combines industry-leading spectral OCT imaging with a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) in one highly advanced instrument. Clinicians are able to both diagnose and track changes in the most complex retinal diseases and their treatments
The result: significantly higher productivity and enhanced diagnosis of retinal diseases and glaucoma.
Confidently detect the smallest pathological changes overtime.
Optos' exceptional image quality and sensitivity gives the physician extra confidence in patient care. Outstanding high-resolution OCT and SLO imaging provides a crystal clear definition of inner and outer retinal layers and vitreous details, enhancing the physician's confidence in diagnosis and patient care.
The confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope provides high-resolution images and retinal tracking before, during, and after the OCT scan. The SLO "Lock and Track" function ensures the follow-up scans are obtained from the same location without relying on the operator's subjective judgment.
With the OCT SLO, both the SLO confocal fundus image and the OCT image are generated through the same optics and are pixel- to-pixel correspondent, ensuring precise OCT registration and orientation.
The high-density OCT topography data set captured simultaneously with the SLO fundus image are also generated with the same source and through the same optics, ensuring precise 3D OCT topography orientation.
The OCT SLO 3D topography provides objective measurement of thickness and volume. The SLO "Lock and Track" dramatically increase test reliability, repeatability, and reproducibility.
Patient throughput is faster and more accurate with Optos' easy-to-use and highly automated process. One click acquires both thickness maps and high-resolution OCT scans. Real-time SLO tracking provides pixel-to-pixel OCT registration and orientation. Scan, analysis, and print happens immediately.
With Optos' "Viewer Software" any clinician can view the system database from a remote computer or laptop, including OCT scans, 3D topography scans, RNFL scans, and optic nerve analysis. Compare exams for changes overtime or discuss the diagnosis with the patients in a remote office.
