All-In-One

Optos' OCT SLO system combines industry-leading spectral OCT imaging with a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) in one highly advanced instrument. Clinicians are able to both diagnose and track changes in the most complex retinal diseases and their treatments

The result: significantly higher productivity and enhanced diagnosis of retinal diseases and glaucoma.

Confidently detect the smallest pathological changes overtime.

  • Assess outcomes of therapies
  • Detect retinal functions
  • Capture structural changes
  • Enjoy the convenience of one state-of-the-art OCT system

Superior Image Quality

image-qualityOptos' exceptional image quality and sensitivity gives the physician extra confidence in patient care. Outstanding high-resolution OCT and SLO imaging provides a crystal clear definition of inner and outer retinal layers and vitreous details, enhancing the physician's confidence in diagnosis and patient care.

  • View macular and sub-retinal layer definition with absolute clarity
  • Enhanced OCT images of the vitreo-retinal and the vitreous
  • Capture subtle anatomical structure changes

Retinal Tracking SLO-Tracking

The confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope provides high-resolution images and retinal tracking before, during, and after the OCT scan. The SLO "Lock and Track" function ensures the follow-up scans are obtained from the same location without relying on the operator's subjective judgment.

Precise OCT Registration & Orientation

OCT-RegistrationWith the OCT SLO, both the SLO confocal fundus image and the OCT image are generated through the same optics and are pixel- to-pixel correspondent, ensuring precise OCT registration and orientation.

The high-density OCT topography data set captured simultaneously with the SLO fundus image are also generated with the same source and through the same optics, ensuring precise 3D OCT topography orientation.

  • 3D topographies can be aligned to the SLO image to compensate for rotation (tilt) and shift.
  • Viewing the SLO confocal fundus image in real-time helps the operator position the OCT scan in the desired location.
  • The SLO image displays the exact location and orientation of each OCT topography

Reliable 3D Topography

3D-OCTThe OCT SLO 3D topography provides objective measurement of thickness and volume. The SLO "Lock and Track" dramatically increase test reliability, repeatability, and reproducibility.

  • Six individual high-resolution radial OCT scans combined with the 3D topographic map in a single report
  • "Auto – Compare" allows automatic comparison of multiple topographic maps taken over extended period including retinal thickness "Progression/regression analysis"
  • Coronal C-scan along with RPE contour
  • Layer segmentation with 3D color render
  • Versatile display of 3D box, 3D cross, 3D render, and 3D notch render

Faster Throughput

Patient throughput is faster and more accurate with Optos' easy-to-use and highly automated process. One click acquires both thickness maps and high-resolution OCT scans. Real-time SLO tracking provides pixel-to-pixel OCT registration and orientation. Scan, analysis, and print happens immediately.

View Scans Anywhere, Any Time

With Optos' "Viewer Software" any clinician can view the system database from a remote computer or laptop, including OCT scans, 3D topography scans, RNFL scans, and optic nerve analysis. Compare exams for changes overtime or discuss the diagnosis with the patients in a remote office.
