Optos devices enable three different procedures: optomap Retinal Exam; optomap plus Medical Retinal Exam, and optomap fa Angiography Procedure. The optomap Retinal Exam is a screening procedure incorporated as part of a wellness or preventative medicine approach and is not reimbursable by Medicare or most 3rd party insurances. The optomap plus Medical Retinal Exam and optomap fa Angiography Procedure however may be covered by Medicare or most 3rd party insurances.
To enhance your ability to view and manipulate optomap Retinal Exam images, download our U-Revu™ software, which allows you to magnify, adjust gamma, contrast and brightness, and view the individual laser separations of optomap images.
