Optos Forms Partnership with Eyemaginations

MARLBOROUGH, MA, January 22, 2008 – Optos, a leading medical technology company for the design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of retinal imaging devices, today announced a partnership with interactive design and multimedia firm, Eyemaginations, Inc. This partnership allows Optos and Eyemaginations to capitalize on the strengths of both companies to deliver high-quality patient education materials to eye care professionals.

Eyemaginations has integrated with Optos’ latest version of its proprietary software – V2® Vantage – to offer their educational animations as quick links to all current and new Optos Partners as part of its evergreen software platform. The animations enable practitioners to educate their patients about eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, glaucoma, and choroidal nevi, which will help patients understand the importance of protecting their retinal health.
